My New Campaign

None of my friends, except one are very easy to convince with DnD being fun and all because of it's horrible rep... SO as a remedy to this, to get them to try it out I knew I had to create a campaign that used something they'd all be interested in. I finall came up with - Kingdom Hearts. I'd like someone's opinion on this campaign concept, I'm still ironing out some stuff. This is meant to be a LONG campaign.

(Set five years after KH3)

For once, there was peace among the worlds. No heartless rampaging cities, no nobodies devising evil plots, King Mickey was more than a little pleased with himself, Sora, Donald and Goofy. Years passed with nothing but good news, until one day when an attack was made in Wonderland, and another in Hollow Bastion. Mickey came to the rescue of course, and was more than surprised to see the familiar long jackets of the Organization. He cornered a member and got no information except a number (LXVI) and a name: Organization Infinity.

The man escaped from Mickey and left the King scratching his head as he looked through gads of books to find information. What could they be searching for? They knew Kingdom Hearts didn't work... And Mickey had never seen hide nor hair of any Organization member other than the destroyed Organization XIII.

For days and days he studied, and heard of no more recent attacks, and then he discovered something with the help of an old friend - the nobodies had determined that yes, stealing hearts would not give them one... Because the true "heart" did not lie in the chest, it was in the memories. The heart was buried deep within memories happy and sad. Mickey discovered something else with the help of the friend - Sora wasn't the only key-bearer. There were others out there, six more. They all were chosen as key bearers and most of them didn't do much with them... Most of them were from worlds Mickey had never heard of before. Either way, he set off to these worlds to collect the key bearers and bring them to the Destiny Islands to get Sora as well. Donald and Goofy naturally joined him like the loyal people they were...

Now all Mickey can really do is hope that with all of these new worlds and a large amount of nobodies (which increases every time memories are stolen...) that there are enough key bearers and enough time to save the worlds.

There are new key 'weapons' that they can choose from.
Axe, Blade, Bow, Charm, Dagger, Pistol, Staff

Each world is sort of a "level" and at the end there is a key weapon given to the player who did the most in that "level" based on their alignment. There's a lawful key, a neutral key and a chaotic key.

There are no heartless, instead there are "Forgetfuls" which are created when a person gets their memories taken. A Nobody and a Forgetful are made, the Forgetful is also in addition to the fact that the person seems to be reset. For example, Alice doesn't remember Sora, Donald or Goofy, or even going to Wonderland when the find her.

As stated in the opening bit there are more worlds. As well as KH worlds and Disney worlds there are an increased amount including places like "Sweeney's London" (Which has a different story based on the alignment of the players. A more evil group helps Sweeney and Lovett and more good group helps Antony and Johanna) etc.

heey! that sounds really awesome. I have played the first KH and I really enjoyed it. I think you did an awesome job so far keeping it with the KH theme and trending to that, but also finding a way to incorporate your friends. Hell I never would be able to figure out how to do that, hence I am a shite DM. I kinda wish I went to school with you so I could play.
