as in clerics/druid/wizard etc or do u mean schools? I havent had the chance to really play anything else yet, but my very first D&D character was a Wizard, and it was REALLY hard to play at first, but once I got a few levels under my belt, it was alot of fun and I could focus more on playing then surviving.

Ooo a good choice for sure. Why is that you're favourite?

Well, it's hard to choose a favorite spellcasting class. When I first started playing, I didn't want to be anything that casted spells because they were too complicated. My first character was a rogue/ranger. When he got to a high enough ranger level for spells, he just ignored them.
Once I started learning how valuable they really are, I wanted to try playing them. I'm definitely a fan of divine magic over arcane magic. Arcane seems really flashy and high-profile, not really my style. I like the straight-forwardness and raw power of divine spells. "Inflict" spells are among my favorites. As far as base PHB classes go, Cleric is by far my favorite.
It has been a while since I've looked through the non-core books. Probably reaching a couple of years since I've had the chance to really read any of them so I can't remember too many of the classes, but I used to know of a ton of them, now all I can really remember is base classes, base PrCs and only a couple extra classes and PrCs.
My favorite character (a character I liked so much, I actually use his name as my screen name) is a rogue/illusionist. For that, I really like Illusionist. I'm going to have RevLemmon burn all the books on pdf to a cd and send them to me. After that, I'll be able to look through them and remember which classes there are and which ones I liked.

Why bother doing that? I have all the books and I could link you a torrent and you can download them in 2 days.

My favorite spellcasting class is Wizard. When I first played I always wanted to play a character that casted spells by learning them. One that was Intelligent. I mean, who wouldn't. When given the choice between hitting the enemies until they stop moving (or longer depending on how low your Int is), some sneaky guy who likes to accidently set off traps while trying to remove them, some twit who likes to sing, an idiot who relies on a god for his power, some charismatic ass who can't even keep his own powers in line, let alone read or learn anything else, and a guy who, through hard work and dedication manages to master an impressive array of reality warping effects that can be applied in many ways. Whose with me?
Druids are also cool.

Whose with me? if that doesnts SCREAM a few things to anyone else, then allow me. *I'll never get laid * I lived with my mom *I'm probably homosexual As much as I love Wizards as well, when reading that, I realize Wizards are the Nerds of D&D. T_T

I don't personally like the wizard. I am more of a Warlock fan.

They don't need to pour over a book to kick your face inside out.
