the big switch is a mere fifty odd days away people!
version 3.5 is to evolve into version 4
the question is
what are we gonna do?
i personaly (having just got into the game) dont want to switch just yet because i dont want too get very confused and angry
but what are you guys going to do?
(this may be worth noting for the admins as this could affect the site?)

I am personally not even switching to 4th edition right away. I am involved in 3 different 3.5 campaigns and am not interested in coverting them and niether is my group.

I'm sure a lot of people feel that same way. Personally, I'm going to start looking into it, learning about it, but I'm not sure I'll immediately start in a game yet. It won't affect the site too much. There will just be more to talk about. |

Yeah I have the books pre-ordered of course but I am not going to start playing in person for a good few months.

The owner of a near-by gaming store told me he might accept 3E and 3.5 books as partial trade-in for 4E books with they come out. If he does that, I'll be looking forward to stocking up on some used 3E and 3.5 books.  I'll be using 3rd edition for a while. |

the only problem for me is that i dont have a kind of gaming store near here
i only have a bookstore and a games workshop so i dont even have a D20!! (dont worry i have a system)
but im still not getting the books just yet
i want my little brothers into the system

I'm gonna give 4E a chance, but Paizo's revisions to 3.5 have great potential, so I've a nice safety net should I dislike the new edition.

3E and 3.5 were so good I loved them. It will be hard to give them up someday.
